AAWEL is a not-for-profit women's organization.
AAWEL focuses on promoting peace and helping poor girls and women from Niger (West Africa) have access to quality education and training for sustainable development and social and financial support.
AAWEL has two branches: the international office is located in Escondido CA, U.S.A and Niger branch�s office is located in Niamey, Niger.
AAWEL advisory board members and AAWEL Volunteers have expertise in literacy, education, community development, health, accounting and banking, family and business law, communication and gender and development, sport, performing art (film, theater), public policy.
AAWELmembers are women and girls from diverse ethnic, religious and economic backgrounds.
