How do we work

AAWEL members are all volunteers who donate money, time
and expertise. AAWEL members facilitate training sessions and work
directly at the grassroots level with groups of women, girls, schools
and communities to identify and solve problems facing poor girls and women from Niger.

AAWEL members use participatory approaches such as REFLECT and Active Pedagogy
for training and implementation of grass-root projects.

AAWEL provides SEED money and in kind contribution to women´s organizations which
were involved in AAWEL training and partnerships.

AAWEL members collaborate with other women´s organizations from Niger and
international community, to provide literacy, leadership and vocational training,
social and financial support to girls and women.

AAWEL members implement a year long training, advocacy and fund-raising activities in the U.S.A,
European Diaspora and Niger in order to inform and actively involve people about the situation and needs of girls and women´s from Niger.
